Friday 7th December 2007 11:00 (GMT) This event is now archived and available on-demand The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard or PCI DSS was created at the end of 2005, and by September 2006 the main card issuers behind the standard had formed the PCI Security Standards Council to oversee the PCI DSS. This webcast will include information on the standard itself, the various associated issues, what it means to your business, the steps you need to take to get compliant and what penalties are incurred if you are not. Speakers Andy Buss joined Canalys in January 2001. He has overall responsibility for the enterprise security analysis and enterprise networking analysis services, and also contributes to the analysis around mobility and wireless applications. Buss is involved in many confidential consultancy projects for Canalys’ clients. He is a sought-after analyst who contributes to the international business and trade press on a regular basis. Buss completed an MSc in the Management of Intellectual Property from Queen Mary and Westfield College, part of the University of London, and was awarded the Herchel Smith Scholarship.
