There are many different ways business critical data can leave an organisation. Recent news reports of security breaches involving data have outlined numerous ways information can fall into wrong hands, from leaving a laptop in the back of a taxi to an employee downloading a customer list onto their iPod, to a break in at a corporate headquarters. How can businesses identify and manage these vast areas of vulnerability so that they can manage and protect the data that is vital to their success?
This webcast will investigate why large data breaches are still occurring on a daily basis and offer advice on how they can be avoided. To do this, the webcast will examine:-
- Where are the major data leaks within the organisation and whether they can be effectively “plugged”
- How organisations can ensure that they know where their business critical data is and who has access to it.
- What questions need to be answered when developing a data security policy.
